AI For Educators: A Workshop by AUT for School Teachers and Staff

At the initiative of External Relations and as a follow up to the conference on the utilisation of AI in education, 11 schools from the Jbeil and Keserwan districts responded to the invitation by AUT for a workshop “AI For Educators” led by President Chafic Mokbel with Faculty of Applied Sciences Computer Science faculty members Georges Abboudeh and Walid Karam.
The workshop ,held on April 26, was attended by 62 teachers from all school divisions and included hands-on training in using AI tools for course planning, syllabus design, testing and test correction.
The feedback gotten from participants was very positive as AUT was praised for being true to its promises and for sharing its expertise with the school community.
A similar workshop will be soon offered to the North school community.
