Congratulations classes of 2023, 2024! Commencement is a significant milestone in your life and your accomplishments! Please accept my sincere best wishes and hopes for you and your future. I'm confident that as you leave AUT you will be well prepared for your next step – whether that is starting your career or continuing your studies. I am confident that the education you have received here has helped you grow intellectually, spiritually, and personally. The world needs people like you, committed to making a difference. As you begin these next steps in your life's journey, remember, you will always have a home and family here at AUT. In your future, I hope you will stay connected to the university, to the professors who have mentored you, and to the friends with whom you have shared this time. The relationships you've established during your AUT time will have lasting importance.

Jacques Jean Sarraf
Jacques Sarraf is a Lebanese entrepreneur and the esteemed Chairman of the Board at Malia Group. Before assuming this role, Mr. Sarraf served as Group CEO for over three decades, during which he was the driving force behind the Group's growth and expansion. Under his dynamic leadership, Malia Group has become a prominent player in pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, technology, and hospitality, establishing a significant presence in the Middle East. Mr. Sarraf is also the Chairman of the Global Lebanese Investors, where he champions the interests of Lebanon and fosters economic ties with the Lebanese community abroad. His commitment to economic development is further evidenced by his role as a Member of the Lebanese Economic Bodies, actively engaging in shaping economic policies and strategies in Lebanon.
