Eighteen Hospitality Management students went to Turkey on a 4-day trip to learn about Turkish tourism policies.
They attended lectures at Istanbul Bilgi University on the geography of tourism in Turkey. Policies of tourism were discussed at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Students also met the General Manager of Mövenpick Istanbul, and had a workshop with the director of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department at Bilgi University. Their free time was devoted to a cultural discovery of Istanbul.
